The Workers is a strong political series of oil paintings created by Edward Dwurnik in the years 1975-1991. It’s general theme is the fight for freedom of the Polish nation. It’s also about resistance, patriotism, religious madness, hatred towards the power, depression, dirt, stench, ugliness, violence, death. The human condition and the resistance is the core of these artworks.
