Description:
In the early 70s Jacek Ostaszewski and Marek Jackowski created a ballad group “Ossian”. They used to play this spirited, melancholic kind of music; a little mysterious, Eastern, ethnic. They became very popular at once and gained many followers. Here I painted them and their fans. Or maybe it's not even the band itself, just the fans and the followers. When young people start dreaming about a journey to Tibet, to India, play drums, and study yoga I say that "Ossian has arrived" to them. (E.D.)
