Description:
In this one, I painted some scenes and dialogues that I remembered from the past, from my family house. My father is here and my mother, and my brother Józef, who very much wanted to go abroad. I used to sit at home; draw, paint, and Józek always repeated that he would go to America and quarrelled with father. That's why he has the saber. In late 1984 he did flea to Canada and he is still living there today. "He got smart" were his wife's words - he was more cunning than the others. She was right. I regret not having painted more of these comic-like paintings, but nobody liked them back then.
