Description:
This is a painting about Andrzej Myjak, a Polish sculptor who got married just then. I painted him with his wife and I put an imaginary studio of his in the background. Not many artists had spacious ateliers at that time. Myjak has his head bandaged which is a referral to Appolinaire because Myjak presented artists in a literary magazine New expression that gathered young poets. Myjak didn't really like this painting. Maybe because it's a bit ironic. (E.D.)
