Description:
In 1983 we ate dinner in a restaurant in Poznan and two drunken guys were sitting at a table nearby. They kept saying: "why Sikorski died, why Sikorski died". The plane crash on Gibraltar in 1943 in which general Władysław Sikorski (Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Armed Forces and Prime Minister of the Polish Government in Exile) died was, and still is today, a splinter in the hearts of Poles and constantly returns in private conversations in Poland. People still believe in conspiracy theories regarding this case, and other, too. Polish people do not believe in unfortunate accidents and circumstances.
