Description:
This painting is dedicated to Jerzy "Jurry" Zieliński, our friend who died tragically in 1980. He was probably climbing a building's facade and fell. Jurry was an extremely talented artist and Edward respected him very much. They often went to The Hopfer's wine house together. It was on Krakowskie Przedmieście Street in Warsaw. This painting has a subtitle The End of Era because when Jurry died we stopped meeting there. Something ended for us. (T.G.)
